CrossRoads maintains a 24-hour crisis line for primary and secondary victims of sexual violence. The crisis line is answered by trained volunteers and staff, and can be utilized to answer questions or to provide support. CrossRoads also provides accompaniment to the hospital and to Law Enforcement Agencies if requested.
By law, if you suspect that a child is being physically or sexually abused, you are required to make a report. Reports can be made to the Department of Social Services and can be reached at(336) 229-2908during regular business hours. For after hours or emergencies, contact the Alamance County Sheriff’s Department at(336) 570-6300.
